Safety measures we are taking due to Covid19
Parents as of right now we plan on opening June 1st 2020. With everything going on we plan on taking extra precaution opening our school. Your kids and our staff are our number one concern, making sure we are all safe. -For now we are asking ALL parents to drop their children off at the front desk. We will take the child from the front desk to their classroom and when you arrive to pick them up a staff member will bring them to you at the door. Please understand we are doing this for safety reasons. -Every child will have their temperature taken. Children will also sanitize and wash hands periodically throughout the day. we will not require children to wear mask but if you prefer that your child has one on, please let us know and write their full name on their mask (cdc does not recommend mask for children under ten.) -Medications will not be administered, if your child has a cough, runny nose or fever please keep them home. (epi pen excluded) -All of our classroom prior to opening will be completely sanitized. we will have dividers in the room to keep the amount of children at a ratio of 9 students - 1 teacher in ages 3 and over with a floating assistant as per dcf guidelines. -One year old room will be 5 students per teacher. -Twos will be 7 students per teacher. -Infant room will remain the same 8 to 2 teachers. We have also installed UV lights in our air units on the roof to kill bacteria. Air ducts will be sanitized and cleaned throughout before we open. We will be keeping the air handler on all night to circulate the air. -Temporarily during phase 1 our hours will be from 7am-6pm *During this time we will not be giving parents a tour of the school, we will offer a virtual tour video of the whole school on our website. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.* Lastly, unfortunately due to Covid we will not have the children go on field trips this summer. We will have a list of fun activities for them to enjoy and keep them entertained for ages 5 and up. -
